He would get very angry when anyone (like the Gold Mane Knight Commander) would mock and slander the Hero. The little boy only wanted to become a hero and make his father proud. The Demon King knew of the boy's unexplainable power, destined to save the whole continent of Harmonia. These two were good friends already and had probably played in this way before, the little hero fighting off the Demon King.
